About Amy

Amy’s passion for the piano began at the young age of 7 years old, and expanded to include the organ once in college. Originally from West Palm Beach, Florida, Amy McCutchen completed her Masters degree in Organ Performance with a specialization in Piano Pedagogy under Dr. Diana Dumlavwalla from Florida State University. Her undergraduate degrees are in Piano Performance and Organ Performance from FSU as well, studying with Dr. Heidi-Louise Williams and Dr. Iain Quinn, respectively.

Amy has participated in numerous festivals and conventions for organ and piano both nationally and internationally, most recently including the International Organ Festival in Haarlem, Netherlands in July 2018.  She is also a member of MTNA, AGO, and is Level 1 Orff-Schulwerk certified.  Amy taught students all throughout her collegiate career in Tallahassee and now has built a thriving piano studio in the Orlando-Maitland area.  When she isn’t practicing, performing, or teaching, Amy loves spending time with her family and two goldendoodles.
